Alan Ewart, Chairman

Alan is Chairman of Monogram.

Alan is a graduate in Metallurgy and spent 33 years with Metallurg Inc, a private international metals group. After joining in 1969, he held various commercial management positions in the UK subsidiary before becoming its Managing Director for 15 years. He moved to New York in 1998 as Group CEO of Metallurg Inc, with production and mining operations in the USA, UK, Brazil, South Africa, Turkey, Germany, and Russia, and trading worldwide. He left at the end of 2002 and has since consulted and held various non-executive directorships with metals, minerals, and chemicals organisations.

Charles A.R. Gillams, Chief Investment Officer & CEO

Charles is the Chief Investment Officer and CEO of Monogram.

Charles has over forty years of experience in financial markets. His journey started with his Economics degree at the University of Cambridge, and his qualification as a Chartered Accountant with Touche, Ross & Co (now Deloitte). Since then, he worked in London with BDO, with E.B. Savory Milln, and later, Swiss Bank Corporation. He then joined Howmac PLC as Chief Executive and held the same position at several listed companies, including URS International Inc and Turnpyke Group plc, both in the US and UK, covering several sectors, conducting a buy to build strategy, concluding with what is now Source BioScience International. From 2000 to 2010 he was an elected representative in Gloucestershire, including serving as Lead Member for Finance and the Environment at the County Council. He has managed Monogram (a Howmac investment) since 2018, Howmac having first invested in the business in 2012. Charles is a Chartered Accountant and is CISI certified.

Naveen Ayyaril

Naveen Ayyaril, CFO

Naveen is Chief Financial Officer of Monogram.

Naveen has over 20 years of experience in financial services and investments, working across Asia, the Middle East, Latin America, and Europe. He began his career as an Analyst at Citibank and has since worked across several top-tier banks and financial services companies, including as a Director at LJ Partnership (now AlTi Tiedemann Global), a global multi-family office. He subsequently co-founded Lonmile, a multi-family office serving a select international client base.

Naveen holds a Masters in Finance and International Banking and was educated at Strathclyde University and Salford University.
